Aaron Haaland of A Comic Shop in Orlando, Florida writes;

Hey Fandom, it's time to talk New Comics Now! This week we have DC's biggest books, Marvel's best book, and some great indy titles too!

DC seriously has their four biggest books out this week JL, Batman, and Superman Unchained! Justice League #22 is the first part of Trinity War, and it got two teams together, brought Shazam out of the back-ups, and killed a character. It was a big messy scene with Supes setting the war off, and all three Leagues manipulated by the Secret Society and Outsider. I've been waiting for this and am more than ready for the Forever Evil crossover that coming after the death of the Justice League! Could this stuff be any more ominous? Batman Zero Year continued when more Bruce vs Alfred and Proto-Batman vs Red Hood with a little Riddler thrown it. Superman Unchained #2 delivered more of what I want from a New 52 Superman, action and heady issues. The Wraith's gonna be a great foil for our man of tomorrow. And Green Lantern Corps #22 was exactly what I want from this book, rebuilding the Corps is John Stewart's time to let his light shine. These new recruits are great for our war torn vets to bounce off of, they are the future that keep John going in the present. Also, why's the White power ring free with this book and not New Guardians?

Marvel's Hawkeye pulls from Image's best practices again with Volume 2 of the collection AND the very next issue after in out the same day! That's how you build fans on a buzzing book. I've said enough about Hawkeye in the past, but it continues to innovate and be my favorite Marvel title. It feels like a creator owned book Marvel publishes. Young Avengers has a similar feel and also feature (a) Hawkeye! Give it a try!

Valiant's Quantum & Woody #1 won me over with its quirky humor and charm, I can't wait for the super-goat! East of West #4 was bloody! Issue #5 promises to deliver the Message, or what I call "The Bad News". Killjoys let's Cloonan draw Grant Morrison! And Walking Dead…all out war is coming, and it's all Rick's fault!
