Infinity #1 Tops The Advance Reorders Numbers, But The Last Of Us Does Pretty Well Too
Another look at the comics being re-ordered in advance by comic stores ahead of going on sale. A good indication of the comics that retailers are suddenly thinking they may need a few more of to fulfill increasing demand – or which have just had a publisher promotion to bump up the orders!
Infinity #1 hits the tops, but retailers are being given massive discounts if they double their Age Of Ultron #2 numbers. They will also then qualify to buy the Skottie Young variant cover, which also enters the chart as a result. Equally Wake #3 has been made returnable which may have given a bump to its reorder numbers, as has Collider #1 and Justice League Dark #23. The Batman annual is ramping up, as is Warren Ellis' Avengers original graphic novel and a certain Angela-starring and Neil Gaiman-consulting Guardians Of The Galaxy
The biggest surprise is The Last Of Us: American Dreams in its final fourth issue, which indicates the series as a whole has done better than expected in its final issues.
