AfterShock to Rock Comics Industry… Literally… With Killer Groove Guitar Giveaway for Fans and Retailers

Are you ready to rock? AfterShock Comics hopes so, because they're launching a new sweepstakes in support of Killer Groove, the new comic by Ollie Masters and Eoin Marron. The sweepstakes will give away two Gibson Epiphone guitars, one to retailers for the best Killer Groove display, and one to fans.

The way it works is that AfterShock provides promotional material — reproducible logos, covers, images of the prize, suggested sell-copy and promotional digital posters, shelf-talkers, handouts and other materials — and retailers use it to create a display in their store for Killer Groove #1, which comes out on May 29th. The display has to go up a week before the comic's release and stay up until a week after release. The comic shop sends a photo of the display to AfterShock, and then fans online vote on the best one. The winner gets an Epiphone Les Paul Special Vintage Edition (VE) Electric Guitar.

Fans who vote online are automatically entered into a drawing for the second guitar, an Epiphone DR-100 Acoustic Guitar. The contest will be decided on June 31 or July 1, with the contest website opening on May 22. At that time, anyone will be able to enter the fan drawing even if they choose not to vote.
