When Alan Davis Draws You as a Scoundrel Rat For Savage Sword Of Conan #10

As first revealed by Bleeding Cool, Roy Thomas returned to Marvel Comics to tell a two-part Conan comic book story with Alan Davis and Cam Smith, starting in Savage Sword Of Conan #10, published yesterday.

It also features the first appearance of Simino, a new character based upon Roy Thomas' manager and friend of Bleeding Cool, John Cimino. Pronounced the same…

The two legends had fun putting him into their story doing what he does best with Conan himself — "hustling money".

Roy told Alan to interpret him like a "scoundrel rat". Roy and John thought the sketch was hilarious – including a Hyborian beanie.

Being a lifelong comic fan, John tells us he was absolutely honoured, and gave us the quote 'CROM!!!'

Savage Sword Of Conan #10 was published by Marvel Comics yesterday.
