On July 21st, Amazon's new animated series Niko and the Sword of Light premieres. One champion remains to battle the darkness and return the world to the light: Niko. And there is more after the trailer….
Amazon has now announced that fans can rev up to watch the series by enjoying an original Niko and the Sword of Light comic book – for free. Launching the same day as the series, the comic book will be available as a free digital download exclusively on Comixology.
The comic book is written by acclaimed kids television writer Rob Hoegee (Generator Rex, League of Super Evil, Storm Hawks, Teen Titans), Ernie Altbacker (Legend Quest, Nexo Knights, Green Lantern: The Animated Series), and Matt Wayne (Ben 10 Omniverse, Justice League Action). Hoegee is the showrunner, executive producer and writer for the animated series while Altbacker and Wayne are writers on the series. The art is from Barry J Kelly (The Venture Bros.).
