C.B. Cebulski Recommends Comic Book Artists Use Their Real Name
C.B. Cebulski is the new Marvel Comics Editor-In-Chief. His credit appears for the first time in that role in last week's Marvel Comics. Bleeding Cool was the first to tell you about that appointment – and also first to get C.B. Cebulski to admit that, yes, he did create the fake identity of Akira Yoshida, a Japanese comics writer, including creating a fake backstory for interviews, in order to get comics writing work outside of Marvel Comics' strict rules regarding editorial staff writing comics for the publisher, which remain in place today.

Still, doesn't seem to have harmed Frank Quitely, Jimmy Broxton or Jack Kirby that much. I guess the lesson may be more, don't be Luxxor69, DragonFeltz or crazy8boi when sending in pitches or samples…
