Carmine Di Giandomenico to Join Peter Tomasi on Detective Comics?

Earlier in the year, Bleeding Cool reported that Peter Tomasi may be the new ongoing writer for Detective Comics after he was shoved off Superman as Brian Michael Bendis came on board. Since then I have had further confirmation from other sources. There have been a few delays, as interim writers Bryan Hill, James Robinson, and more have written a few issues each, but I am given to expect an announcement at San Diego Comic-Con.

But who to draw it? Well, Carmine Di Giandomenico posted the following image on Facebook…

Carmine Di Giandomenico is best known in American comics for Flash, Spider-Man: Noir, Punisher War Journal, X-Factor, Iron Man, Ultimates and Journey Into Mystery, as well as drawing storyboards. And now practising his bat cloaks.
