Cosmos – Part Sci-Fi Adventure, Part Mystery And All Action

Tony Kittrell writes for Bleeding Cool:

This weekend Kickstarter goes out of this world with the COSMOS Maxi-Series!

COSMOS Promo KickstarterA new campaign takes over Kickstarter starting today and it looks to be a cosmic spectacle of epic proportions.  COSMOS is the name of the indie project that writer Tony Kittrell has released.  He describes it as "part sci-fi adventure, part mystery and all action".

ISSUE 2The COSMOS #2 Kickstarter (along with the first issue of the series and some other goodies) is now live!  COSMOS is an all-new, star-spanning, maxi-series that brings together all of Advent Comics' cosmic heroes and chronicles the origins of the Advent Universe as events are set into motion that could destroy all existence as the heroes know it!  The art is first rate and captures the cosmic feel and scope of the story.  This is a very solid effort for a title that is obviously setting up something big in the coming issues.  Kittrell (like this series) is full of surprises.  He is the owner of the up & coming, indie publisher known as Advent Comics and a real-life superhero by day as a career Firefighter/Paramedic.

The premise involves the evil Regime Empire (from Advent Comics' Darklight & Crew) which has come to Earth in search of a mysterious relic that will grant them control over the universe!  After the events of COSMOS #1, Legend begins his quest for allies to combat a threat from his past but will Nimrod the Hunter and the immortal Nubians aid or side against him!  Enigma and Genesis explore the history of the Advent Universe beginning with the origins of Genesis himself.  The mysterious Outcast and the cosmic powers known as The Universals convene to stave off a celestial threat and introduce…the Avatars!  Cosmos #2 features a story written by Tony Kittrell with awesome art by Dody Eka, inks by J.E. Lozano, colors by Bryan Magnaye and lettering by Shawn DePasquale. Cover by Jimbo Salgado (Spider Man, DC & IDW Comics), Tots Valeza and Vince White (Legend of Will Power).

PAGE 17Kittrell promised that every Bleeding Cool reader that pledges would get a SPECIAL 11×17" print featuring art by Andy Smith (Thanos: Infinity Revelation & Infinity Relativity Graphic Novels) if they reach $1,000 in pledges by Tuesday.  Just contact them on the comments section and let 'em know Bleeding Cool sent ya!

The good thing about this project is that all of the creative work is done!!  The creative team states that they simply need to raise funds to cover the printing of the issue and the distribution of it.  I know that not everyone can afford to support this project with money but if you tell a friend (or two) and share this that is just as good.  So let everyone know on Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Tumbler, Twitter and by word of mouth about COSMOS!  This looks to be an interesting series and something that we would like to see more of.

I hope that you all will support this campaign and make this a success!
