Could We Get The Robins After All On November 7th? And The New Gods That Weren't. (UPDATE)I was taken aside at New York Comic Con by someone keen to tell me that the rumour Bleeding Cool had run a while ago, that Jeff Lemire was to launch a new New 52 comic called The Robins was, at least at some point in recent history true. It may have been turned down, or replaced with another project, but at one point it was seriously being considered by the company.

But before the show Jeff Lemire tweeted to artist Andrea Sorrentino;

And then this weekend, he followed it up with;

What are Jeff Lemire and Andrea Sorrentino up to, that will be announced on November 7th? A New DC 52 book by all accounts now that Sorrentino is off I, Vampire. Could it be The Robins… or something else entirely?

UPDATE: Something else entirely, it seems…

And with Justice League Of America scheduled for February, what other books could be joining them in another Mini-Wave, as well as Threshold #2 (which may have got an early start in January due to have being originally planned for Zero Month).

One book that won't be there is a Giffen/DeMatteis/Maguire comic teaming the classic justice League team on New Gods. Maguire tweets;
