But DC Comics lawyers suggest he may have bitten off more than he can chew. It may be noted that DC Comics has licensed such rights to an upcoming Britsh restaurant which can use all the Superman shields it wants.

Another blockchain company called Another Blockchain Company, of Miami Beach, Florida, wants to trademark this logo for blockchain currency services and news/discussion media.

But DC Comics are trying to block it.

Hong Kong's NetEase Interactive Entertainment is trying to trademark the word 'Joker' for entertainment services and computer games.

DC, who has a number of Joker-based games is clearly not keen.

While Speakable LLC of New York are trying to register a trademark for 'Providing on-line non-downloadable software for providing detailed information and interactive features, options, and tools relating to the subject of the content of the web pages into which the software integrates' and 'Downloadable computer software for providing detailed information and interactive features, options, and tools relating to the subject of the content of the web pages into which the software integrates'

Unfortunately, this is the logo they want to trademark.

Will they be a flash in the pan?

Lawyer Maryam Parman wants to trademark 'Super Woman Super Lawyer' for legal services.

But DC has their own super lawyers – in this case, Leo Kitty from Fross, Zelnick, Lehrman & Zissu PC.

Kitty is also opposing Kyle Hoffman of St Joseph, Missouri, for his trademark attempt of 'Super Mellow Man' for 'Cigarette lighters; Electronic cigarette atomizers sold empty; Smoking pipes; Tobacco grinders'.

Looks like no one is being mellow on this one…
