Did The DC Universe Get COVID-19 After All? Marvel Comics Didn't…
It was already revealed in Fantastic Four that the Marvel Comics Universe, that they dodged the coronavirus pandemic. But what about DC?

It was already revealed in Fantastic Four #14 that in the Marvel Comics Universe, that multi-billionaire tech-bro Dan Passi had used his AI app Metamind to prevent the coronavirus pandemic that began in our world in 2019/2020.
While in the Millarworld shared universe revealed in Big Game #1, Prodigy created the Omicron variant of COVID-19 to take out the pandemic which itself was a huge plot by the bad guys. To be fair, Mark Millar has never encountered a conspiracy theory he didn't love.
But in the DC Comics Universe, while Gotham has had lockdowns for other reasons, coronavirus never got a mention in continuity…
…although the Penguin and Catwoman did forcibly vaccinate the world in a storyline out of continuity that DC seems to want to forget, even though it was written by Danny Di Vito...
…until this week's Batman: The Brave And The Bold #8. Smack bang in DC canon.
As a mother looks after her sick child, we get a mention of another event…
Just a brief mention of this being a post-pandemic world. But it's more than we've seen before. An editorial slip, or a placeholder for stories to come? Unless they are now going to say that this refers to what happened in Beast World or Knight Terrors…
In the end, Savage Dragon did it better than anyone.
