Remember DC Rebirth by Geoff Johns and Gary Frank? Which realised that the DC New 52 was a load of crock, created by an all-powerful character from a well-regarded classic graphic novel who really should have been left where he was rather than jumping over to the DC Universe? Hey, it's not just me saying that but Batman and Superman seem to agree. As Dr. Manhattan ripped years out of continuity, brought twisted versions of their fathers back to life and generally went around merging one continuity with another, the future of the Legion and the past of the Society in an attempt to make everything go like… clockwork.

Or some such. DC Comics May 2019 solicitations will bring the unauthorised sequel to Watchmen, Doomsday Clock, to its eleventh issue (probably) and will see DC Rebirth directly addressed…
