Who Did Evan "Doc" Shaner Sneak Into the End of The Terrifics #4? [Spoilers]
At the end of last week's The Terrifics #4, the team took Linnya Wazzo, the new Phantom Girl, to her home planet of Bgztl, where the population can phase through matter — even dimensions. The artist of the issue, Evan "Doc" Shaner, wanted to draw people's attention to something on the final page.
Let's step back a little. The Terrifics had found Phantom Girl lost in the Dark Multiverse after they went searching for a signal that had been sent by Tom Strong. They rescued her and took her home.
But there was something wrong. Very wrong. She had been away a lot longer than she had thought.
A very real effect from travelling at speeds getting closer to light speed that would affect real-life astronauts. With everyone else having to get there the long way round…
But the population of Bgztl there to support her.
But who is that boy who Shaner highlighted?
We see what out pop cultural background wants us to see. For me, the dots give him a certain Little Nemo by Windsor McKay look. Others wished for Billy Batson. But no.
