Fantastic Four #4 Reveals the Future of the Baxter Building – and How Long They've Been Away (Spoilers)
Fantastic Four #4 out this week by Dan Slott, Stefano Caselli, Nico Leon, Erick Arciniega and Joe Caramagna has the Fantastic Four actually come back to Earth. All six of them.
And we get the confirmation that, yes, they have been away for five years. Valeria Richards was three when they left, making her eight now – though she seems to be drawn older.
And Franklin confirms the five-year gap as well, making him around twelve or thirteen now. But where are they going to live now that the kids are growing up? Peter Parker bought the Baxter Building…
Johnny Storm somehow let it slip out of his fingers when Parker went bust…
…even as Storm became a billionaire,…
and now it seems that this new team, The Fantastix…
…(and nothing like DC Comics' own FF ripoffs The Terrifics, okay?) have it.
Time to move to another familiar address…
The new Fantastic Four, folks. Now in residence on Yancy Street. Say, could the book be about to take a turn into the Fraction/Aja Hawk Guy territory?
Oh and as for Alex Power staying behind with the others… he'll also be five years older.
Has anyone told Kate Power?
