Formerly Director of Publicity at Oni, Melissa Meszaros, Asks For Help
Until a few days ago, Melissa Meszaros was Director of Publicity at Oni Press, after joining the Portland-based publisher two years ago as a Marketing Assistant, after serving as a PR Manager at Dark Horse Comics. Her previous employment including more PR work and stints as an advertising copywriter. The company website still gives her biography as one who has 'survived a plane crash, double-crossing a dolphin, being buried alive in the desert at the end of Casino, and accidentally touching an electric fence. '
Along with a number of employees of Oni Press and Lion Forge who just announced a merger and a relocation of Lion Forge to Portland, she found herself out of work. And with other pressing health issues.

Alongside other responses from people who have lost their jobs as a result of the merger, Oni Press and Lion Forge could really do with a good director of publicity right now.
