Jeff Parker Will Explain What Artists Need From Writers At Orbital Comics In London On Saturday

My most regular of comic shops, Orbital Comics in London, will be welcoming Jeff Parker to their store on Saturday 24th June for a signing followed by an after-hours talk.

Writer and artist Jeff Parker has worked on titles such as Agents of Atlas and Hulk from Marvel, his Eisner nominated The Interman and more recently Batman '66 and Future Quest from DC.

Jeff will be signing on Saturday from 5-7 pm before hosting a talk called Writing for Drawing.

It's a common complaint that some writers, especially those established but new to comic books, writing without enough consideration for the limits and possibilities for the form or an understanding of the artist's role, abilities or needs.

Parker who has gained success in both fields is ideally suited to the explaining the mindset of one to the other…
