Golden Apple Comics of Los Angeles will have a better Free Comic Book Days than many as they actually have published one of the comics being given away on Free Comic Book Day, Blastosaurus. And so have an exclusive on creators of that comic sughing at the store…

And they are also going beyond the store's doors to the neighbouring coffee shop.

Here's their schedule for May the 4th…

  • 10am-12pm: Avengers and Deadpool writer Gerry Duggan.
  • 10am-1pm: Blastosaurus team Richard Fiargray & Paul Eiding – Blasto Annual is an official FCBD silver sponsor comic this year.
  • 1pm-3pm: Supergirl writer Marc Andreyko.
  •  1pm-3pm: Unearthians creator Omar Mora.

And as Free Comic Book Day is on Star Wars Day this year, their neighbouring store Coffee for Sasquatch is giving away a free Star Wars comic while Standings Butcher Shop, will be grilling $6 cheeseburgers and handing out free Bob's Burgers comic books.

Golden Apple Comics will also have 50% off back issues and 2 for $1 comics at their Sidewalk Sale, and 25% off all comics and graphic novels inside the store through the day…
