Latest Marvel "No Compromise, No Mercy" Teaser Features Winter Soldier
For the past two days, Marvel Comics has been teasing a big announcement next week, sending out images of various characters accompanied only by the text: "No Compromise. No Mercy." And no, that's not Ike Perlmutter's policy on paper clips.
Instead, it's a new series spinning out of War of the Realms, and starring Blade, Spectrum, Wiccan, Angela, Daimon Hellstrom, and now, Winter Soldier.
As to what this series will be all about, it's up in the air. We can guess at a somewhat dark tone from the teaser imagery and character selection, and we've speculated as to whether this will be another in the series of 10-part weekly Avengers series, such as Avengers: No Surrender and Avengers: No Road Home. But that's no guarantee. It could be something in the supernatural corner of the Marvel Universe, or maybe another event in a never-ending cycle of events. Maybe never stopping events is what Marvel refuses to compromise on, and our wallets are for what they have no mercy. Who knows?! Either way, all will apparently be revealed next Tuesday on Marvel.com, so we'll be doing our best to break the code before then.
