Learn How Beast Boy Got His Eye Back… In Five Months Time (Spoilers)

This week sees the launch of Titans #1 but looks like Beast Boy will have to wait till October to learn how he got his eye back again.


This week sees the launch of Titans #1, a new series reviving the characters from Teen Titans in their own ongoing series. And it seems that as of July, they will be getting another series, Tales Of The Titans, each spotlighting a different member of the team, beginning with Starfire in Tales Of The Titans. Well it looks like Beast Boy will have to wait till October and Tales Of The Titans #4 for his own spotlight issue, where we will learn how he got his eye back. Which, for a shapeshifter, you wouldn't think would be a great deal, but clearly it is.

It did seem that his lost eye was going to be a permanent thing, even for a shapeshifter. Promotions of the series however show a Beast Boy with both eyes looking fine.

And we are told in Titans #1 that he won't have to shapechange into a one-eyed trouser snake or anything… we will just have to wait until October for Beast Boy's solo issue.

Looks like he has still has some unstated reason to go for the eyes… let's see what happens when he meets up with Deathstroke again… Titans #1 is published by DC Comics on Tuesday.
