How Lex Luthor Betrays The Joker in Justice League #13 (Spoilers)

The Legion Of Doom has been playing with the Justice League since the Scott Snyder relaunch of the title. But today sees James Tynion IV, Gillem March and Arif Prianto give the Legion Of Doom top billing on the cover. And the initial deal between Luthor and Joker that made the whole setup possible in the first place.

The deal was done. No Batman Who Laughs. Thought as we learned last issue, he remains captured in Luthor's rooms in the Hall Of Doom…

A betrayal that saves Luthor's life. As the Joker's plan to destroy everyone and everyone around him in the Legion of Doom is put on hold…

…because whatever the Batman Who Laughs does to Luthor will be worse.

So decision to betray the Joker with the Batman Who Laughs has actually saved Luthor from the Joker… but only for dessert. The issue also contains a preview of The Batman Who Laughs by Snyder and Jock which looks like it continues right from this issue…
