Marvel Knights Celebrates 20 Years with 15 'True Believers' $1 Comics in September

To go along with the upcoming repackaged collections and possible new series, Marvel is celebrating the 20th anniversary of Marvel Knights with 15 $1 comics, part of Marvel's monthly True Believers offerings that tempt comic book readers into buying old reprints with the one prize no comic book fan can resist: a number one issue! Of course, if you want to read the rest of the stories, you'll have to pick up back issues, collections, or a subscription to Marvel Unlimited, a totally unforeseen consequence.

Fifteen titles are getting reprinted in September, and, well, Marvel is taking some liberties with the Marvel Knights branding, applying it to comics from long before the label existed while oddly excluding comics from the actual Marvel Knights line (including the eponymous Marvel Knights by Chuck Dixon and Ed Barreto), but let's not nitpick… any more than we already did. Besides, maybe there will be more next month. Check out the solicits below and get ready to relive the publishing initiative that helped secure Joe Quesada what is apparently a lifelong position as a top Marvel executive.
