Nothing Exceeds Like Excessive Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Covers

It must be hot in Arizona because Jesse James Comics and Exceed Exclusives are practically tripling down with Boom Studios. Two weeks ago I reported they went all in with the publisher for a Bill & Ted Go to Hell four-issue, four-cover program, and now comes news that they have invested in a five-issue, 11-cover initiative for Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. And they are all connecting.

For issues #1 – #5, Jesse James Comics and Exceed Exclusives will have two covers, one featuring a Zord and the other featuring the corresponding Ranger, all done by artist Nick Robles. The variants kick off with the Mighty Dragon Zord and Green Ranger on issue #1, which comes out March 2nd.

And of course, there's a convenient back cover image that outlines the release dates for the other covers, as well as an 11th Secret Cover.

With the ComicsPRO variant going for as high as $500 these days, there's definitely a hungry collectors' market for anything Power Rangers. I hear Boom's first convention this year will be at WonderCon. I wonder what Power Rangers exclusive they'll have in store…
