On Black Friday, Jesse James Will Hand Out Remaining 10,000 Stock Of Double Take's Graphic Novels For Free
Jesse James of Jesse James Comics in Glendale, Arizona, is one of those bright, innovative, well-connected and forward-thinking retailers. Who can see opportunities where others see disasters and is constantly thinking how he can better serve his customers.
So when Bleeding Cool announced that the Bill Jemas-run comics publisher Double Take was to be closed down by its parent company Take-Two Interactive by the end of the month, he pounced.
He writes,
No comic book left behind.
We have secured the remaining Double Take Trades (10,000 copies) and will be handing them out each day from Black Friday on for Free!…..
So, if you want to check out what all the (limited) fuss was about, and read a zombie sequel to Night Of The Living Dead in the sixties that evolves into a superhero universe – and don't want to read them for free digitally – then this is your best bet!
Mind you, 10,000… that's a lot to get through.
Probably cost him a lot less that $1.2 million though.
