Oni's Odd Schnozz And The Odd Squad Leaps Off The Page & Into Your Ears
Oni Press has an exciting new release to announce entitled, Odd Schnozz and the Odd Squad, written by Jeffrey Burandt, with art by Dennis Culver and colors by Ramon Villalobos. Digital chapters of the comics will release in six parts on ComiXology, and will begin the scheduled release on May 12th. They will continue every week through June 23rd, and then the full graphic novel will physically release on June 24th.
The story follows Odd Schnozz and the Odd Squad, including Liz, Bodey, Maude, and Justine who are sure to win this year's Battle of the Bands. But when a talking chimp, who claims to be a scientist from the mysterious organization B.L.A.N.K., interrupts their practice session, they have a whole new set of problems. Now B.L.A.N.K. agents are closing in, determined to recapture the escaped chimp before he becomes a liability.
Something that's pretty unique and exciting about the release is that a soundtrack will accompany it. This will allow Odd Schnozz and the Odd Squad to leap off the page and into your ears. Written and performed by writer Jeffrey Burandt and his Brooklyn-based scifi rock band Americans UK, a new track will release on OddSchnozz.com every Tuesday, beginning May 12th through June 23rd, when the full Odd Schnozz EP will be available. Odd Schnozz and the Odd Squad is said to be a thrilling tale of cyborg animals and punk rock teenagers. What could be more exciting than that? Check out this awesome preview below!
