Batgirl #1 First Print Already Selling On eBay For $10 Plus Postage

It hasn't even gone on sale yet. But Batgirl #1 by Gail Simone, Ardian Syaf and Vicente Cifuentes with a cover by Adam Hughes is already selling – not just listing but actually selling – copies on eBay for $9.99 plus postage.

The cover price is $2.99 but copies have sold out at distribution level, a second print is anounced and it is likely to have been ordered in fewer quantities than the likes of Action Comics #1, which is selling on eBay at cover price.

While a large amount of fan interest has been recorded in the title, Bleeding Cool's own retailer survey found it had been ordered at a lower level than that.

This is what you get when demand beats supply… expect Batgirl to sell out in stores very quickly tomorrow. Very, very quickly. That second print can't arrive too soon.
