The Curse's Tim Daniel And Michael Moreci Set Fire To Burning Fields

The team behind the Boom! Studios series Curse have a new book for the publisher.

Tim Daniel and Michael Moreci have announced their new series, Burning Fields, describing it as "military horror".

Out in January, Moreci talks about it as,

The story centers around Dana Atkinson, a disgraced military investigator who return to Iraq after a series of bizarre murders threaten to destabilize the area. With the help of a local investigator named Aban, Dana sets off to find the truth behind the murders, and confront some demons—in the form of a ruthless private military company—of her own. Think Zero Dark Thirty meets The Thing.

What's especially cool is Burning Fields reunites the team behind Curse. I'm co-writing the book with Tim Daniel, Colin Lorimer is handling interiors, and both he and Riley Rossmo will split covers. This is going to be one gorgeous book, I can promise that.

Burning Fields begins in January (the same month the Curse tpb releases).
