Could Second And Third Prints Of Rachel Rising #1 End Up Going For More Than The First Print?
Bleeding Cool has been reporting how the comics speculator market seems to have seized on the self published book Rachel Rising by Terry Moore and Abstract Press, with word of a possible TV series. With issue one in excellent slabbed condition selling for near a thousand dollars, another selling in still very decent condition for $250. and unslabbed for up to $200, some wondered just how many there were of them out there. Terry Moore obliged;
Got print run info today for #RachelRising #1 collectors. 1st print 12,600. 2nd: 1,350, 3rd: 1,200. And that's all there is.

Funny FYI: I have only 3 copies each of Rachel Rising 1, SiP 1 & Echo 1. Just as well, if I had extras I'd trade em for guitars.

While a first print is often more desirable for the collector, it's worth nothing that there are over ten times as many first prints as third prints. A third print just went for $30. A second print for $35. Let's see what happens now…
As for the future of the book, Terry states;
@waterfrontcomic now it depends on the tv series. If it gets on air and stays, I'll keep going.
