MisfitsWatch: Series two gets a massively positive critical reception. The Guardian talks about the cast
Lauren Socha's Kelly is a perfect portrait of a genuinely unhappy teenager, an endlessly, magnificently pulsing mass of insecurities and hostility. Iwan Rheon as Simon breaks your heart even as he's pulling murdered probation officers out of the freezer
The Metro puts it up against the best of American dramas, The Independent said that it "looks bound to dominate the next few weeks' viewing" while the BBC pushes the possibility of a US remake a week late. Here's an interview with the cast courtesy of Holy Moly;

This is The Bleeding Cool ComicChron Robot speaking. I come for your women. But for now I merely collate comic-related bits and pieces online. One day I will rule. Until that day, read on.
They say I am a work in progress. The fools.
Stan Finally Sets Date for his Hollywood Walk of Fame Ceremony
The recipient has five years from the date of the vote to schedule his or her ceremony. I don't know what Stan's been waiting for but he's finally set the date: Tuesday, January 4th, 2011. (Is there a Marvel-related event, like a movie opening that week? That might explain the scheduling. It might also tell us who's paying the fee for this honor, which was $25,000 when Stan was selected but is now $30,000.)

Here it is, True Blood fans! Moebius to make rare U.S. visit for Burbank animation expo
There are few living illustrators whose name possesses a true mystique, and near the top of that list is Jean Giraud, a.k.a. Moebius, the 78-year-old artist whose work has rippled throughout pop culture and influenced several generations of filmmakers and comic-book artists – as well as fashion designers, musicians, video-game creators and pop artists of every stripe. He also worked for Hollywood with memorable concept or design contributions to "Alien," "Tron," "The Abyss" and "The Fifth Element." The French creator hasn't been stateside in more than a decade and a half, but on Nov. 20 he is a featured speaker at the CTN Animation Expo
Cthulhu Mythos, As Imagined By Kids
This time I wanted to try something more structured so I pitched the idea to them that since it was getting on to Halloween how 'bout drawing some monsters? And not just any monsters but creatures from the writing of H.P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos. Now, only two of the kids (the older ones) had any knowledge of who Lovecraft was or had read some of his stories. So, I was able to introduce the kids to these creatures pretty much fresh with no previous imagining of what these monsters look like.
Interview: Stuntwoman Bridgett Riley (Watchmen, Catwoman, Power Rangers, and 5 Kickboxing Titles)
This is part of the job. Women get minimal pads if any at times and high heeled shoes are sometimes a must depending on camera. Wardrobe sometimes makes us shoes that are stunt friendly. I like these wardrobe people. It just depends on the shot. The Silk Spectre outfit was horrifying to me. I was like, Ugh, I better lose weight. There was little room to hide anything. I had to do a full body cast for that suit. What a trip that was.

Truth, Justice … and 'Superheroes in Court!' at Yale Law School (video)
For instance, back in the 1930s, Superman's publishers went to court to prove that rival hero Wonderman constituted a copyright infringement on the Man of Steel. One of the court exhibits in the case, Action Comics No. 5, is on display at Yale.
