IDW To Publish Next Men Sequel, AftermathOn the Byrne Robotics message board, John Byrne has confirmed that IDW will publish the sequel to Next Men, when it concludes later this year

John Byrne's Next Men began at Dark Horse in Dark Horse Presents, before continuing as a series under the Legend imprint. Put on hiatus by Byrne with issue 30, it would only be continued a decade later at IDW, as issues (3)1, (3)2 and so in. And now it looks like the story will be continuing past the book's conclusion in (3)9.

Named Next Men:Aftermath, the sequel will continue the series numbering with #40 rather than starting again from #1.

Byrne describes the book;

It spins right out of the "last" issue of NEXT MEN, and features several familiar characters.

It also takes a very, very, very different direction!!!
