Joe Madureira Wants To Draw A Zelda Comic Series

The last time I remember reading a Legend Of Zelda comic was back in the nineties, from Valiant Comics before they decided to move into superheroes. There's were also a few manga books tied into specific game releases but no US licenced comics for quite some time.

This could change if Joe Madueira gets his way. As his new game Darksiders 2 from Visual Games hits, he talked about his desire to work on such a comic.

 

Joe Madueira is best known in comics for his Marvel superhero work and for Battle Chasers, a fantasy fighting creator owned series for Wildstorm that he took to the top of the charts. He's currently drawing arcs on Avenging Spider-Man. But it's likely that a Legend Of Zelda comic written and drawn by Joe Madueira would do very well for any publisher that could get it together.
