Bleeding Cool has been noting not just a confluence of Marvel and DC's event storylines of late. Both exploring their respective multiverses, both seeing realities captured and arranged together for purposes of conflict – and within those multiverses, we see versions of each other's universes.

Bleeding Cool has, for amusement's sake, suggested that maybe there was some kind of clandestine crossover being planned between Marvel and DC. But we never really believed it. Hell, we still don't.

But this seemed a familiar scene from the new issue of New Avengers…
