We keep seeing glimpses of the potential of this concept. First there was Coelasquid vs Finch on that Justice League #1 cover, then there was BC's photo contest based on that idea, and now we've got today's top post based on an Avengers movie promo image.

Kevin Bolk has painted a reappropriation of an existing Avengers movie promotional image. Now, it's all of the guyvengers turn to go for Brokeback poses.
Diesel has provided a number updates on the film to his Facebook page, though mostly back when there were optimistic things to say. He did, however, make one comment since the studio lock-out. This is from November 10th:
The BBC have issued their first promotional image for the new Absolutely Fabulous, and blurbs for the two episodes that will be screening over Christmas and New Year.
