Talking Comics – Discussing This Week's Upcoming Titles From Darth Vader To Divinity And Empty, Plus Louisiana Comic Con

By Randy Young and Chris Hunter

Bleeding Cool welcomes the return of Talking Comics, from Excalibur Comics, Cards, and Games in Shreveport, Louisiana, to discuss this week's upcoming books, speculating about where they are headed, and discuss their favorite storylines.

Hosts Randy Young and Chris Hunter say:

Thanks for pressing play!

It's another great week of comics and we have high hopes for at least one certain title!

Darth Vader starts this week and if it's anything like Star Wars, it will be a crowd pleaser! This is going to be Darth Vader in his very own ongoing series and we couldn't be more excited! Let's see how things look from the evil side…the Dark Side!

What if a Russian cosmonaut was launched into space, went further than any man has ever gone, and then returns to Earth…changed? A Communist returns to Earth with the powers of a God and we get to see how the world will respond to that in Divinity!

Jimmie Robinson gives us a different look at an apocalyptic landscape in Empty #1. Tanoor's world is changed when a mysterious stranger enters hers and things will never be the same.

The Spider-Verse concludes this week and we get more Black Vortex from Marvel Comics!

Tons of our favorites hit the shelf this week and we can't wait to get our hands on them!

Be sure to answer the Question of the Week below! It's all about those Avengers, baby!
