The Impossible – UK Trailer
One of the comforting things about disaster movies is the bit where you walk out of the cinema saying "well that could never happen…"
Even in fact-based disaster flicks like Titanic we can still say "…well that would never happen these days"
The Impossible is a a factual disaster epic set in 2004. With, as you'll see in the clip, some (excuse the pun) brilliantly immersive recreations of the Indian Ocean tsunami.
The film stars Naomi Watts and Ewan McGregor as a Spanish couple caught up in the event, and it's directed by Juan Antonio Bayona. UK release date is 2 January 2013.
