Rom Comes To San Diego Comic Con In Toy Form – Can A Comic Be Far Behind?

MTV has the news. A new Rom toy, courtesy of Hasbro and Mighty Muggs, will be exclusively available at San Diego Comic Con.

The appeal of the toy is primarily down the seventies spinoff comic book by Bill Mantlo, published by Marvel, which embedded the Space Knights into Marvel continuity. When the rights to the original doll were caught in in bankruptcy and closure of Parker Bros, eventually they seem to have been squirrelled out by Hasbro.

It's worth noting that Hasbro have an ongoing relationship with comic book publisher IDW. Who have been dropping enough hints of late.

Could San Diego Comic Con also see a Rom comic announcement as well? Possibly, as has also been rumoured, as part of the Transformers license?
