Second Prints for Empyre #1-3 To Be Published On the Same Date as First Prints

Okay, so this is a bit weird. Comic book retailers are able to increase, or decrease their orders without penalty for A4: Empyre #1, the new event comic from Dan Slott, Al Ewing and sssss, until the FOC date of the 23rd of March. Empyre #2 has a FOC date of the 6th of April and Empyre #3, of the 27th of April. So why, oh why, oh why, is Marvel Comics issuing second printings for Empyre #1, #2 and #3, each with the same FOC date – and publication date – as the first printings?

If the second printing arrives on the same date as the first printing in comic stores… why is it a second printing again? No cover art yet of course, so here is a picture of Napoleon III, of the Second French Empire.
