Space Goat Productions Creates A Nazi Puncher Comic, Seeks Submissions About Punching Nazis
Publisher Space Goat Productions is producing a new comic anthology, Nazi Puncher, a comic and art anthology benefiting the Southern Poverty Law Center. The anthology will exclusively feature art and comics depicting Nazis or fascists getting punched, smacked, kicked, or generally beat down on.
But don't worry Voltaire-enthusiasts, there are only fictional punching encounters. No actual nazis will be harmed in the making of this comic. Only metaphorical noses will be pit out of joint.
They have limited space for the printed book, so we will not be able to include everyone who's interested, but intend to put everyone they can in the digital version. If you're interested in participating, they'll need the following by 4/30:
- A link to your portfolio/work samples or a list of your comic credits. Webcomics are also fine
- A short description of what you'd like to submit for your page. It can be your creator-owned character punching a Nazi or fascist, just a generic cool pin-up of Nazis or fascists getting punched, a one-page comic about punching Nazis or fascists, etc. As long as it has Nazis getting punched, we're good to go.
- If you'd like to do more than one page, please them know.
- You must control 100% of the copyright of your character. SGP makes no claim to ownership. You can only use likenesses of public or historical figures.
- Please send your submission email to nazipunchercomic@gmail.com with your name as the subject header.
- They have the right to reject any submissions that are ableist, sexist, racist, transphobic, homophobic, or discriminatory based on religion, creed, or country of origin. So I'm guessing "punching feminazis" will be right out. Simply by using the word "feminazi".
- And they want to clear any social media posts creators make about the comic. How dare they! That's censorship! Just like a Nazi!
