On Monday night, I received the following image, purporting to be the last page of Amazing Spider-Man #12.

No, not that image, that's the big spoiler image we like to use. And we probably need to use it more today than ever. But this is your last chance to back out.

There are holy of holies in Marvel comics. The death of Gwen Stacy – though she has now been returned in an alternate dimensional form. There's the death of Bucky, though he has now returned in the form of The Winter Soldier.
