Steve Trevor Is No Longer The First Man – In Justice League: Darkseid War
He's been a member of Team 7. It didn't go well. He's led the Justice League Of America. It went worse. And he's been Wonder Woman's off again, off again since he brought her to the world of Man.
But even seeing Wonder Woman and Superman no longer being together hasn't been great for Steve Trevor.
As we see his fate in the Justice League: Darkseid War Special today. As we get two warring narratives, Jessica trapped inside Volthoom's Power Ring, and Grail recounting her life history, daughter of Amazon Myrina and Darkseid, in parallel with Wonder Woman.
And a not-that-willing audience member. Nice tattoo, Steve. I'm sure I saw it in a film recently.
As part of Steve Trevor's story though is the fact that he was the first man to step foot on Paradise Island, thought to be a terrible destructive thing, thought not retconned into being, well, what Grail says below. But there's a twist…
… amidst the kiddface, the revelation that Steve Trevor was not Paradise Island's first.
Retcon alert! Retcon alert! So, who was Paradise Island's first? Odds are we've already met him. Better not be Vandal Savage, that's all I'm saying.
Justice League: The Darkseid War Special is published today.
