STL Comics And More – a New Store Opens in Manhattan Antique Marketplace, Missouri

STL Comics is best known for putting on comic book shows in the St Louis area, where they also exhibit, and beyond. Buying and selling comics for over 15 years, they put on the 1 Day Show and Micro Con in St Louis and then exhibit elsewhere. Well, as of this month, owner Eric Meyer has put his money where their mouth is and has opened a permanent comic book store within the Manhattan Antique Marketplace at 10431 Saint Charles Rock Road, Saint Ann, Missouri. They've had to restrict the shows they attend to just those in the St Louis area, as a result of the demands of the new shop – but is looking to expand those St Louis shows as a result. The store opened with Rick Burchett and Jeff Edwards as guests, with Ryan Kincaid since opening. But it's another road to the creation of a comic book shop, with a local history to exploit rather than simply opening fresh, green and unknown…
