Talking Comics – Ultimates #1, Superman American Alien #1, Goddamned #1 & More!

Bleeding Cool welcomes the return of Talking Comics, from Excalibur Comics, Cards, and Games in Shreveport, Louisiana, to discuss this week's upcoming books, speculating about where they are headed, and discuss their favorite storylines.

Hosts Randy Young and Chris Hunter say:

Hello, everyone, and thanks for pressing play! This week is another huge week of brand new series starting from several comic book companies. Marvel Comics gives us a whole new line of All New titles that ship this week as well as the return of some favorites to their stable of comics. Do not miss the brand-new take on the Marvel Universe that will be starting this week!

DC Comics gives us a very different take on one of the world's most loved and renowned superheroes ever – Superman! Author Max Landis will be telling us some very different and unique stories concerning the Man of Steel with this seven issue miniseries that starts this week drawn by a different artist every issue!

If you loved the Vertigo comic series, Scalped, then you will want to check out the new work starting this week by the very same creative team of Jason Aaron and R. M. Guerra from Image Comics called The Goddamned. This new series will take a look at the Earth during the time before the great flood ever occurred and just how cursed these people are living in that age.

This week we also get even more of the Secret Wars storyline from Marvel Comics and the conclusion of a few of those stories as well.

Also, don't forget our Question of the Week as we give you the opportunity to be king for a day at DC Comics!
