Skottie Young has never been shy of biting the hand that feeds him. He even spoiled the big plot twist for Marvel's Civil War II last year.

But his I Hate Fairyland series has seen him take down all manner of sacred cows, as his psychopathic old-beyond-her-years Gertrude destroys all manner around her.

And now, it seems, she is taking uit to Image Comics. Whether that's taking apart tics of The Walking Dead…

I'm not sure which they would more object to, the dismemberment and death, or the suggestion that early Britpop wasn't all that.

It is a tour de force, and possibly my favourite Free Comic Book Day title of all the ones I've read. So far. If they cost money, this would be my Best Buy…
