Ghost-Spider #5 is in stores from Marvel Comics next week, by Seanan McGuire and Taka Miyazawa, and as we've been wondering about this cover was first solicited a few months ago, are we about to hear wedding bells?

Granted, it would be pretty strange, considering Gwen doesn't look all that happy to be there on the cover, plus Jackal has been stalking her at her school, which isn't a great way to build trust in a relationship.

Now Jackal has followed Gwen back to her home dimension and has put his marriage proposal plan into action.

And it's an elaborate one, requiring the help of his other-universe counterpart.

And sure, threatening a mother and child with an armed robbery might not seem all that romantic at first… but it's clear he's put a lot of thought into this.
