United States Of Murder Annual Redefines The Word Annual Once More

The United States Of Murder Inc Annual #1 by Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming, an extra-long chapter spinning out of their series published by Marvel, was solicited for May 2015.

It was never published. But because it was from one of the Diamond Premium publishers, Marvel Comics, Diamond wasn't allowed to cancel it themselves. Instead, it has been made later and later. In August 2016, it was meant go be coming out in October. In December of that year, it was meant to be coming out in January of the next. In March 2016 it was meant to be out in April. And so on.

The latest news, as told by Marvel to retailers, is that United States Of Murder Inc Annual #1 will be published on December 6th, 2017. If nothing else, that has be a redefining of the word "Annual".
