USPS To Issue Wonder Woman Stamps This October
Like Batman, to celebrate her 75th anniversary Wonder Woman is getting a set of stamps from the U.S. Postal Service. The new Forever stamps will be issued on Oct. 7th, but will be unveiled at SDCC on Saturday.
The sheet will consist of 20 stamps depicting Wonder Woman's appearance over four different eras: the Golden Age (1941–55) drawn by Jon L. Blummer, the Silver Age (1956–72), by Irv Novak; the Bronze Age (1973–86) by Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez; and the Modern Age (1987–present) by Cliff Chiang.
Wonder Woman made her first live-action feature film appearance in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Gal Gadot portrayed the character and will again in a solo Wonder Woman movie in theaters June 2, 2017.
