When Emma Frost Replaced Professor X In Age Of Ultron

age

Age Of Ultron was famously begun a number of years ago, but then delayed, Avengers Vs X-Men taking its spot on the schedule. Which meant, on its arrival, a few continuity plugins had to be inserted to explain why Spider-Man was acting more like Peter Parker in the series, and why the Fantastic Four were around. The latter ended up asking more questions than it answered…

Obviously there were some dialogue changes to the main series, but also art. Because Professor X was meant to be in the main series, but AVX went and killed him off. Which meant his role as chief telepath was replaced by that of Emma Frost. Originally the art above from Age Of Ultron #1 would have had Charles Xavier on crutches.

However, on the next page, is that Charles Xavier in a position that might indicate crutches? Marvel says not… but in that case, who is the baldy?
