Today's Hellblazer #1 does a fine job throwing shade on the previous New 52 version of John Constantine as writer Simon Oliver says that his time in New York was "like being a different person entirely".

Still, it does get us to reunite two lovelies.

Image (5)  John Constantine and Swamp Thing, who first encountered each other way back in the eighties in Swamp Thing #37. Wherein Constantine told Swamp Thing what he was and what he could actually do with his abilities that he hadn't even considered.
