Wind Chaser Under the Blue Sky Wins 17th International Manga Award

Wind Chaser Under the Blue Sky by Chien Jason from Taiwan from Gaea Books has won the 17th International Manga Award.


The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Japan founded the International Manga Award in 2007 for the purpose of expanding international exchange and mutual understanding through Manga culture around the world. This award honors Manga creators outside of Japan who have added to the culture. This is the 17th such award, the chair of the ministry is Kamikawi Yoko, Japanese Minister for Foreign Affairs, and for the selection of the awards, manga artist Satonaka Machiko. The gold winner was Wind Chaser Under the Blue Sky by Chien Jason from Taiwan, published by Gaea Books.
