Wizard's Fred Pierce And Marvel's Warren Simons Head Up Valiant ComicsThe new Publisher of Valiant Comics is Fred Pierce, who used to be President and COO of Wizard Entertainment until 2008 and who was apparently on the management team for the original Valiant alongside Jim Shooter.

And the new Executive Editor is Warren Simons, who used to edit The Invincible Iron Man, Spider-Man, Thor, Daredevil, and The Immortal Iron Fist at Marvel.

They join Peter Cuneo, former Marvel CEO and Vice Chairman, who was recently appointed Chairman of Valiant, and his son Gavin Cuneo.

Quite a club.

I still haven't got any more feedback as to whether or not Bill Jemas is still working for the company… but it would explain one or two things.

UPDATE: Apparently Jemas is no longer associated with the company. Shame, you'd have had the full set.
