Wolverine And The X-Men Goes Back To The Days Of Australia, Marc Silvestri And The Reavers…

If you are in your late thirties, there is a period of time in The Uncanny X-Men which is probably very special to you. Chris Claremont obviously, but also Australia, Reavers, Marc Silvestri and early Jim Lee.

When you pick up Wolverine And The X-Men tomorrow, don't rush to read it straight away. Get home, settle down with a nice class of wine, maybe play something appropriate to that late eighties, early nineties period. Then read.

Wolverine & The X-Men always works best when it's set in the Jean Grey school. But I'm told that this issue, set in the Hellfire Academy works just as well. And that it's funny, proper funny, drop-you-glass-of-red-wine-on-the-carpet funny.

But that the ending, is especially there for those of a certain age, and it's quite possible you may get rather giddy.

Enjoy. You've been waiting for this for a long time.
